Game Of Thrones Cupcakes

My family is all about Game of Thrones these days, so with my sister's birthday this week, to celebrate I made her cupcakes with the main house sigils!

To make these chocolate toppers, I printed out images of each house's signature animal, taped it to a cookie sheet, and then taped a sheet of wax paper over it. I then heated some chocolate melts in the microwave in a plastic bag, snipped off a small corner of the bag, and traced each sigil in chocolate! After letting it cool in the freezer, I then melted white chocolate and dyed it different colours, making shields over each animal to create what you see here! My one word of advice: if you want to dye white chocolate, be careful what kind of food dye you use! I used gel ones, and adding too much of it gave the chocolate a bad consistency, rendering it unusable!

While nowhere near all the houses, here we represent through chocolate House Targaryen, Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Tully and Greyjoy. To whom do YOU swear your allegiance?
